What kind of yarn do you use?
All of the wool that I use is 100% made and sourced in New Zealand. I am constantly discovering and partnering up with local wool supplier and yarn dyers who make beautiful good quality wool.
I am committed to using natural fibres that are sourced and manufactured in an ethical and sustainable way.
Is everything made by hand?
Yes, everything is handcrafted with lots of love and care. This is why lead times vary as it all depends on how busy I am.
Please note that all pieces are created by hand (including the yarn which is hand dyed), so no two items are identical. Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the photos. I try very hard to accurately represent my product through photographs and description however the colour of the image can vary widely from one computer monitor to another.
How do I wash/care for my handmade product?
I recommend washing your purchase by hand with a mild soap or detergent designed for delicate items. Lay flat to dry on a towel. If your beanie has a faux fur pom pom, do not get it wet!
How long does it take for my item to ship?
Please refer to the header announcement at the top on my website to see the current turnaround time for custom orders.
Shipping within New Zealand usually take about 2 to 3 working days. International shipping usually takes at least 10 working days. However, please note that delays may occur due unforeseen events such as Covid related issues or high volume times such as Christmas.
I live in New Zealand - is GST included?
GST is included in all my pricing for purchases within New Zealand. You will see the calculated amount of GST at checkout.

taxes?
Import duties, taxes, and charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.
What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, I do accept returns.
If this happens, please contact me at alpineyarns@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving your item(s) and return the package at your cost and I will issue a full refund minus the original shipping fees.
